5G

Although 5G is not yet available in many countries all the 3 models are equipped with a 5G modem. In theory 5G can be 100x fasted compared to 4G. However, there is a small side-note. The S20 is equipped with a different modem compared to the S20+ and S20 Ultra. In practice the speed increase on the basic S20 is marginal compared to 4G LTE. The S20+ and S20 Ultra are already able to make use of these super fast 5G network. When there is no 5G available the network will use the 4G network instead.

Cameras (a lot of cameras)

Samsung went crazy on the cameras this year! All the models are equipped with a telephoto lens, a wide lens and an ultra wide lens. With the S20 and S20+ you are able to have a 30X hybrid zoom (3X optical & 10X digital). On the other hand the S20 Ultra has the capability to zoom up to 100X. (10X optical & 10X digital)

The S20+ and S20 Ultra also have a time-of-flight or DepthVision camera. This type of camera measures the distance to an object. This enables the device to enhance the photo quality even more.

The selfie cams on the S20 and S20+ consist of a 10MP sensor. The S20 Ultra has a powerful 40MP camera!

Battery

All the 3 models are outperforming the current battery standards for smartphones! Specifically: The S20 is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery which has up to 28 hours of talk-time. A full recharge takes 75 min. The S20+ has a 4500 mAh battery which has up to 34 hours of talk-time. A full recharge also takes about 75 min. The S20 Ultra has an extreme 5000 mAH battery. This means you will have up to 37 hours of talk-time! A full recharge takes 70 min.
